Sandy spies her horse friends having fun.

It takes a certain amount of determination to get out on the horses after two snowstorms, even though the temperatures hovered in the mid-30’s here. I forgot to factor in horsey cabin fever, which made for a spirited ride on Sandy, shown above. She saw her Mustang friends, Bravo, far background, gray, and young Persephone, dark gray, on the track, being led by their owners (or was it the other way around?), and what fun Persephone was having. Sandy decided to shed “old” Sandy (foaled 1995) for “Let’s-go!” Sandy. Stardust, bottom, who required two people to tack her up today, including a rarely-used German martingale, ended up being the reasonable one. Go figure.
